My research is broadly interested in cognitive mechanisms from experimental, computational, and developmental perspectives. I am particularly interested in memory processes – how they change across the lifespan (young childhood to old age), and how they interact with other processes such as attention and metacognition. For example, how do young and older adults differ in how they learn associations, or links, between different aspects of an experience? How do developmental changes in associative memory affect forgetting? How does visual attention impact the memories that are formed, and vice versa? And how do memory and decision-making processes work together across the lifespan? My lab is currently being built. Come help us construct a house of science!
