Directed Independent Research

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience and Behavior both have a strong scientific emphasis that encompasses traditional areas of psychology including neuroscience and behavior, cognitive psychology, social/personality psychology and developmental psychology. Students are strongly encouraged to become involved in the research. Find out more here.

FAU Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry  (OURI)

FAU OURI exists solely to help undergraduate students find research mentors and accrue experience​​. OURI helps sponsor competitive grants/awards that you can use to fund your research, as well as undergraduate research symposia where you can present your data. Other training opportunities include how to prepare for the GRE, identify graduate programs, writing a statement of purpose. Read more.
